Swan Valley Member Passing
The Board of ACT Manitoba is saddened by
the death of former Swan Valley Players and ACT Manitoba
board member, Caren Dundas. Caren was an integral member
of the Swan Valley troupe for many years holding several
executive positions as well and acting and directing.
Caren joined the Board of ACT Manitoba in 2008 immediately
taking on the role of Treasurer. She held the position
until 2016, when she then decided to instead serve as a Regional
Representative for two years, as she once put it, "To get out
from behind the books and actually enjoy the performances!"
She will be missed.
ACT Annual General Meeting
ACT Manitoba will be holding it's Annual
General Meeting at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 23rd 2022
at the Prairie Drama Academy at 601 Tupper Street North in

to September 2022; review the financial picture,
including the budget and membership fees for 2022-2023;
and elect members to the executive board – a treasurer and 3
regional representatives.
All member companies are invited and
encouraged to attend this meeting. Each company will have one vote
and ACT will reimburse mileage for one vehicle per member
company.
ACT MB Common Forms and Documents
- NEW MENU OPTION
As previously posted, the Board adopted
Dropbox
as it’s primary archival system for storing copies
of all of ACT’s electronic documents. By maintaining and accessing the documents online, the
Board hopes to eliminate carrying and distributing binders of
information and years of archival documents, while still
providing the most recent versions of items to those that need
them.
You can now view the folder of documents under the
SERVICES / FORMS & DOCUMENTS tab on the menu above
or the previously provided link at
