MEMBERSHIP \ BECOMING A MEMBER
 

BENEFITS

 

As a Member Group, your theatre or performing arts group will:

 

  • have a group vote at ACT General and Special Meetings

  • be eligible to participate in the ACT Provincial Drama Festival or "ACTFEST"

  • be eligible for financial support for Scholarships and Theatre Development

  • have access to Professional Resources for Educational Programs & Workshops

  • be eligible for assistance from the ACT Board with any questions or concerns your group may have, whether it be developmental, educational or technical

  • be eligible to broadcast your groups activities and announcements through the ACT Newsletters, eMail Notifications and Facebook page

  • be eligible for Travel allowances to ACT Sponsored Events such as ACTFEST

 

And individual members of your groups will:

 

  • be eligible to participate in the ACT Provincial Drama Festival or "ACTFEST"

  • be eligible to apply for financial support Scholarships

  • be eligible to participate in ACT-funded Educational Programs & Workshops

  • be eligible to receive ACT and member group communiqués and notification of activities through the ACT Newsletters and eMail Distribution List

 

Note:  Only Member Groups and their individual members may enter or participate in performances at the ACT Provincial Festival

 

ANNUAL RATES

 

Currently, Group Membership Rates are $150 per fiscal year.

 

ANNUAL TERM

 

ACT's fiscal year runs from September 1st to August 31st, so memberships expire annually each August 31st.  Registrations are accepted at anytime during the fiscal year; however, renewals are recommended to be submitted prior to the Annual General Meeting scheduled in October.
