ACT Manitoba is a provincially funded, volunteer organization, registered as a Canadian Charity, with a mandate to support amateur theatre and amateur performing arts in Manitoba.

Membership is open to all amateur theatre groups in Manitoba and member groups benefit from access to services; funding for theatre development and training; and participation in provincially-offered activities and the annual provincial performing arts festival ACTFEST.

Gimli's A-Spire Players Suspends Summer Program
In a notice posted on their website, the Board of Director's for Gimli's A-Spire Players announced that due to upsurge in the COVID-19 virus, they have suspended all their activities, including their annual and beloved summer program, normally well attended by ACT Manitoba members and member groups.


ACTFest 2020 Cancelled
Due to the COVID-19 situation, the Board of ACT Manitoba, in concert with the Board of Shoestring Players, has reluctantly decided to cancel this year’s annual ACTFEST.  Further information is now available on our ACTFEST/This Year's Festival page.
